When setting up and installing Amazing Charts, I opt for Foxit Reader instead of Adobe Reader. Foxit speeds up the loading in the Amazing Charts Imported Items tab. It also has some additional free editing tools that are only available in Adobe Acrobat. The commercial versions of Foxit are also cheaper relative to Adobe Acrobat and have nearly the same feature set. The second reason to use Foxit Reader with Amazing Charts is that it significantly reduces crashing when browsing in Amazing Charts. Another added bonus is that it has a free PDF printer included so there's no need to find a third party PDF printer. Previously I would have to install Adobe Reader and Bullzip PDF Printer to achieve the same functionality. Results have been dramatic for some users.
That being said, there are plenty of people who have no issues with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat in their practices. But for those people who want to experiment or those who suffer frequent crashing, I would suggest uninstalling Adobe Reader and switching to Foxit Reader. It loads a lot faster and is pretty versatile.
Step 1: Uninstall Adobe Reader from the Control Panel
Step 2: Download FoxIt from their Website
Step 3: Install and Enjoy. Since you uninstalled Adobe Reader first, there is no need to set the default PDF viewer to Foxit.
